WITHOUT a doubt a player to keep an eye on in North Wales Coast West Division One next season.
After some time away, Wood has now returned to the Bay – the club where it all began for him as a young player.
The 27-year-old has always been a class player no matter where he’s been from Amlwch Town to Bro Goronwy and more recently Bodedern Athletic where he now joins Cemaes from.

He made 26 appearances for Ricky Williams’ Boded side as they won the North Wales Coast West Premier title last season.
Before that and before the Covid pandemic struck, the tricky forward was a vital player for Bro Goronwy in the Gwynedd League.
The 2019/20 season was a particularly brilliant one with Bro for Wood.

He scored 16 goals that year, beating his tally of 13 for Amlwch the season before, and was key in helping the club on its way to winning the NWCFA Junior Cup.
Wood scored four goals in a 5-0 semi final win over Menai Tigers before also playing in the final which they won against Bryngwran Bulls to lift the cup for the third time in their history.
A top class player who loves to run at and past defenders, we’re sure he’ll be giving quite a few defenders some nightmares in tier five next season!
