ALTHOUGH it might not have ended the way they would have liked it to – losing out in a cup final – it’s still fair to say that Talysarn Celts enjoyed a great first season in North Wales Coast West Division One.
The Gwynedd side finished their debut campaign in third in the league and were runners up in that NWCFA Junior Cup final.
There were some standout stars everywhere in the side but one who often went under the radar for them despite some class performances was Garem Jones.

The central midfielder was a real physical presence in the team and often made a difference when it came to winning the battles in the middle of the park.
And as well as that, the 25-year-old scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in his 30 league outings for his side.
A great player!
