WHAT better way to kick off this new series to end 2021 on the blog than with a young man who has been banging in goals for fun during the 2021/22 season so far.
Few could have predicted what a fantastic first half a season in senior football this promising forward has had so far.
33 goals in just 18 appearances to date tells you everything you need to know about the talent Louis Chapman possesses.

The 20-year-old has been nothing short of sensational for North Wales Coast West Division One side Caergybi so far and has also provided 9 assists for his team-mates along the way.
Of the 33 goals he’s scored, 26 of them have been scored in just 13 matches in the league – with just Llanystumdwy forward Sion Parry currently getting the better of him in that respect at the moment with 29 to his name.
Chapman is actually playing in his first senior season in football and his brothers Floyd, 21, and Jake, 18, also play for Caergybi.
Cybi manager Dale Moffat took a chance on him this time last year and he proved to be great in friendlies and has barely stopped scoring in competitive matches since either.

His 7-goal haul in an 11-0 win at Y Fali a couple of weeks ago is the most goals scored in a single game by any player in tier 4/5 in the North Wales Coast West region so far this season and will be hard to beat too I’m sure.
Described by several team mates as ‘fearless’, Louis certainly looks like he could be one of tier five’s hidden gems this season as he’s already proving to be a real threat to defenders.
Holyhead has a long and proud history of producing great goalscorers from Asa Thomas to Chapman’s current Cybi team-mate Gary Jo Owen, and it now looks like Chapman himself could be the latest to join that prolific scorers list for seasons to come.
