A PLAYER who has come a very long way during his three seasons with Llandegfan FC.
Centre back Clarke joined the club in 2017, having turned his back on rugby in favour of playing football.
The season after he would go on to become one of the club’s most important players and was chosen as the Most Improved Player come the end of the 2018/19 season for his efforts.
In 2019/20, he became club captain and played 23 of Llandeg’s 26 matches in all competitions and led the side to its first win in two-and-a-half years when they beat Pentraeth Reserves 2-1 away in January 2020.
A player who is a quick and strong defender and has rarely missed a training session during his time at Llandegfan.
He has now become assistant manager to Arron Evans at the club ahead of football re-starting in future.
