A DEFENDER who has become a vital part of Caergybi’s side – particularly over the last two seasons.
Over the years, I’ve given a lot of coverage to Casey’s brothers – Gary Jo Owen and Liam Williams – but not so much to him and so I think it’s about time he gets the recognition he deserves.
The 28-year-old is a player who can play anywhere across the back line (and midfield if needsbe), is always calm on the ball and can dictate the tempo of the game well too.
Williams has been with Caergybi since the club was formed in 2017 (although he did briefly leave for Holyhead Town before returning) to Dale Moffat’s side.
During his time with the club, he’s won three trophies and promotion to the Gwynedd League, where he again showed what he could do during the 2019/20 campaign.
He’s a defender who has a bit of everything; versatility, great passing and strong in the tackle too. A real asset to Cybi.
