AFE’s Stars of the 2019/20 season: Dylan Williams (Bangor 1876)

ONE of the underrated stars in 1876’s Gwynedd League title-winning side of last season.

Midfielder Williams is a lively and commanding midfielder who really stood out in tier four in what was 1876’s debut season.

The 30-year-old is a former Shrewsbury Town academy player and also spent four years on a soccer scholarship at the University of Rio Grande in Ohio, USA.

As well as that, he was a member of the highly-successful Glantraeth side that won the Welsh Alliance One and Cookson Cup double in 2016/17 and captained them to the Gwynedd Safeflue Shield the season after.

Upon joining 1876 last season, Williams bagged 5 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions and was a vital component within Mel Jones’ side.
