ONE of the most quietly brilliant players around on his day.
Jones is a highly-versatile player who can play comfortably in several positions for his side.
Over the past few seasons, he’s been a real key player at Bro Goronwy, with his creativity and goalscoring abilities coming in handy for the Cae Nerys club.
In 2017/18, he bagged 16 goals for Bro and in the following year he was just as important, even netting in the 3-1 NWCFA Junior Cup final win over Bryngwran (now Trearddur Bay) Bulls as Bro won the prestigious cup for a third time in their history.
Last season, in a much changed Bro side, Jones netted twice before moving over to Pentraeth where brother Connor also made the move over to at that time.
Playing a more defensive role at Bryniau Fields, the 26-year-old picked up another two goals before the season ended.
A top talent no matter where he goes and Bro’s loss will certainly be Pentraeth’s gain with Jones around.
