Centre back Philp, who’s dad Alex is manager of the Rhosgadfan-based club, was part of the best defence in the league that conceded just 16 goals in 8 games.
Despite being just 17 years old when the season started, the former Bontnewydd player was superb throughout for his side and showed maturity beyond his years alongside some older heads at Rangers.
A solid defender who looks as though he has a very bright future ahead of him if last season’s performances are anything to go by.
