A TOP young talent at Llanfair who first came into the team at the end of the 2018/19 season but truly showcased just what he could do during the last campaign.
A pacey left-footed attacker, Jones was a real menace on the attacking front in Vinny Walker and Spud Thomas side which was full of exciting young prospects.
In a season which, just as with his team-mate and Llan’s top scorer Elliott Jones, was riddled with injuries for the player, Jones managed six goals for the club.
The most important of all those came when Llanfair beat Anglesey League title-chasers Mountain Rangers 2-1 away in January 2020.
Had it not been for his long-term injury, I’m sure he’d have gone on to hit double figures as he looks like a fantastic player.
