PENTRAETH endured a very tough campaign in Welsh Alliance Two last season, finishing bottom of the pile, picking up just 13 points in 23 matches.
But they certainly still had some standout stars in their squad.
Hughes, who can play anywhere across the back line but is predominantly a full back, was a real hard-worker for Matt Parry’s side and was the club’s second top scorer with eight goals in all competitions also.
He’s been a great servant to Pentraeth over the last few seasons at Bryniau Fields but has now moved on to another former club – Llanfairpwll, who will be playing in North Wales Coast West Division One (tier five) when football resumes.
