DAJ was brilliant in the heart of a Rangers back line that looked impossible to break down at times during the club’s debut campaign in the AL.
Alex Philp’s side conceded just 16 goals in the league, making their defence the best of them all. Jones was a highly-reliable centre back who led that defence well and always plays with so much heart.
Jones, 33 yesterday, has now returned to former club Talysarn Celts ahead of the 2020/21 campaign and I’m sure he’ll be sorely missed by all at Rangers.
