FORMER Welsh Premier player who really made the difference for Rangers in their debut Anglesey League season in 2019/20.
Central midfielder Kay was club captain as Moutain Rangers agonisingly missed out on the league title as Cemaes Bay pipped them to the glory on Points Per Game (PPG).
‘Josie’ was second top scorer at the club as he bagged 13 goals from the middle of the park – only behind the formidable Sam Williams who finished as the leagues top scorer in all comps with 44 goals to his name.
35-year-old Kay, a former top-flight player with Caernarfon Town, was a real leader for his side who was never afraid to get stuck in in order to earn his side those vital points.
His wealth of knowledge of the game, talents and influence made a huge difference at Cae’r Gors last season and will continue to do so in future for Alex Philp’s side I’m sure.
