INCREDIBLY, this young man wasn’t old enough to play Llangoed’s first few games of last season. But, once he turned 16, there was no stopping him on the senior football scene.
Gregson, who’s also an academy player for Caernarfon Town, made his senior debut for Llangoed after turning 16 in August 2019 and immediately made an impact under manager Mark Thomas, who very recently left the club.
Despite being so young, he’s shown maturity beyond his years already and really stood out in the midfield for the Gwynedd League club who finished eighth in the table.
His creative spark within the side is clear to see and he also popped up with nine goals in a memorable first season in men’s football.
For me, he’s one of the best young footballers on the island right now with a really bright future ahead of him should he continue in the same form when football returns.
