AFTER notching 23 goals for Cemaes Bay in the Anglesey League in 2018/19, Rowlands made the move to bitter rivals Amlwch in the summer of 2019.
In the blue of Ryan McKean’s side, the forward maintained that fine form and was a standout star in a tough Welsh Alliance Two division.
Rowlands scored an impressive 14 league goals for Town and was a real standout before switching to Llandudno Amateurs at one point in the season – alongside another fellow ex-Amlwch player, Martin Byast, whose brother Chris is now manager at Lôn Bach.
Rowlands scored a further three goals for Amateurs, who were also in WA2.
He’s anunderrated player with a very good eye for goal who deserved a mention.
